THE HUDSON OBSERVER DEATH NOTICES

The Hudson County Genealogical Society has partnered with the Jersey City Free Public Library to index death notices found in 
The Hudson Observer. The Jersey City Free Public Library has the Observer on microfilm. The newspaper began as The Observer and 
was published in Hoboken, NJ starting in 1904 to 1910. It became The Hudson Observer from 1911 to 1924; and then continued as 
The Jersey Observer until it was merged into The Jersey Journal in November 1951. This database is the result of the work of 
multiple volunteer contributors who have given permission for The Hudson County Genealogical Society to post their efforts on 
its web site for free access. 

Use of the database is for personal, non-commercial genealogical research only and may not be compiled, repurposed or otherwise
