The Hudson County Genealogical Society provides this database courtesy of member Jim McCarthy, who has compiled a list of changes to Jersey City street names that were necessitated by the merger of various towns Jersey City, Hudson City, Bergen and Greenville into the present day boundaries of Jersey City. This database includes the old and new names and year of change.
