Old Bergen Reformed Church Marriages 1664-1830
Founded in 1660 and continuing to this day Old Bergen Church is the oldest continuous congregation in the State of New Jersey. As part of his book, The History of Land Titles in Hudson County, NJ, published in 1872, Charles H. Winfield included the records of Marriages, Births and Deaths taken from the records of the Old Bergen Reformed Church, and for the most part translated from the Dutch. These records begin in 1664 and contain marriages down to 1830, births to 1825, and deaths to 1850.
