Genealogy Roundtable Discussion

The Hudson County Genealogical Society has a diverse wealth of knowledge in its growing membership, many of whom have performed research for a long time. We will be holding an open roundtable discussion on all genealogy topics that may include surnames we are researching, brick walls we have encountered or broken through, and more. Discussion will begin with a simple introduction by each person and what names you are researching.

Bring your family photos, Pedigree Charts, brickwalls and genealogy questions and tap into the collective expertise of the group! It is your opportunity to share successes, frustrations, and ask questions. Who knows- someone may have the answers you need!

Directions:
From Route 3/NJ Turnpike North or South:

1. Take Route 3 East OR NJ Turnpike North to Exit 16E/TurnpikeSouth to Exit 17 to US 495 East (as if you’re going into Manhattan).
2. Get over to the right lane. Take the ramp up the hill (Super 8 Motel and Toys R Us on the right) to the light. Stay in the left lane but bear right where the road splits.
3. Turn left at the light at the top of the hill. This is Kennedy Boulevard.
4. Head north on Kennedy Blvd. The cross streets are numbered and the numbers should be going up. If they’re getting smaller, you’re headed in the wrong direction.
5. At 57th Street you’ll see Meson Espanol restaurant on your right, and just beyond that Our Lady if Libera School. Drive *past* it and make a right at 60th Street.
6. Make the first right onto Washington Street. Go a block and a half and make a right into the OLL parking lot. It’s OK to park on Washington Street as well. Use the cafeteria entrance, which is next to the stairs that lead to Kennedy Boulevard.
