Event: "Spirit of the Jerseys State History Fair"

Location: Washington Crossing State Park, Titusville, NJ
Come enjoy the New Jersey State History fair with dozens of historical and genealogical groups represented. The Hudson County Genealogical & Historical Society will have a table at the fair too so come see us while you're enjoying the event!

Event: "Meet the Greatest Generation: Through the 1940 Census" Join us for for a day of learning more about the 1940 Census release and how to find your ancestors in it.
The day will start with a talk: “Counting Heads – History of
the Census and How to Use It to Unlock Your Family History” presented by Bob Murgittroyd.
Following the main presentation we will help people locate their relatives in the still-to-be-indexed 1940 census using the library’s media center computers. Both portions are free but space is limited for the media center workshop. Visit our 1940 Census Information Center to register for the workshop.
