Hudson County Monuments Pictorial Catalog

The Hudson County Genealogical & Historical Society along with numerous member and non-member volunteers is seeking to preserve in digital form the historic markers, monuments, statues, murals and plaques in all the boroughs of Hudson County through digital photography and meta data that will be made accessible to the public on the Web.

There will be future installments of our digital preservation initiative in coming months, but for now please enjoy the features below.

A Monumental Salute - Veterans Day 2011

The Hudson County Genealogical and Historical Society is pleased to present the second installment to their ongoing Pictorial Catalog Project documenting Monuments throughout Hudson County: monuments dedicated by the towns of Hudson County to those who served in “The Great War.” Watch for future installments of our digital preservation initiative in the coming months.
